About this Talk

During times of acute stress, it may result in heighten levels of negative conflict, due to higher levels of anxiety, irritability and fatigue, which affect our ability to concentrate and problem solve. Adding to this challenge is the physical disconnect of working in virtual environments which may add an additional layer of stress. During stressful conflict situation, we react and hope to move past the issue without an honest resolution to the event. These are symptoms of a deeper challenge which is important to uncover if we are to learn how to better deal with conflict for a positive outcome. A key characteristic of unproductive conflict is that the real issue isn’t addressed. This summit is designed to develop understanding, appreciation, and introduction to skills needed to engage in, address and manage conflict.
